Where Do We Run
poem by Julianne
violent smoke
fills me with hope
of choking on plain air
dying clearly
lying nearly
through the smile we share
war and fighting
lungs confining
just too stunned to speak
it’s too easy
keep on crying
hate is for the meek.
Julianne has written poetry for a while but never shared it, and her work is heavily influence by the media she consumes, especially classic books and plays.
